“Aleyka” at “Russian Gastroweek” in Beijing.
On November 1, 2016 in Beijing the exhibition of food from Russia “Russian Gastroweek” was held. It was the first event of the Russian Export Center (REC) in such a format.At “Russian Gastroweek” Altai Krai was represented by CJSC “Aleyskzernoprodukt” named after Sergei N. Starovoitov. The company has been selling their own production under “Aleyka”TM in the Chinese market for 9 years.
According to Elena Shcherbinina, the Head of Beijing RepOffice of CJSC “Aleyskzernoprodukt” named after Sergei N. Starovoitov, the event was arranged very well and will definitely benefit to all the participants.
According to REC website (http://www.exportcenter.ru/ ) “Russian Gastroweek” is a set of events in the new format. Each event includes presentations of Russian companies – food producers, b2b- contact exchange and the taste test. Over 60 Russian food exporters and over 150 representatives of Chinese retail chains and HoReCa participated in the event.
Mikhail Mamonov, the CEO on arranging international projects at REC said that the catalogue of “Russian Gastroweek” had been prepared in advance and presented to the Chinese side for information. Now the catalogue contains 87 different companies including manufacturers of flour, vegetable oil, meat, poultry and pastry.
The event was organized by REC in collaboration with the Russian Embassy, the Consulate and the Russian Trade Mission in China. Local authorities, the Ministry of Commerce of China and the International Trade Development Assistance Committee of the PRC also contributed to the organization of the project. In the course of the event REC and International Trade Development Assistance Committee of the PRC signed the agreement for further collaboration on the issue of promising directions in trade development.
