88 Embassies and RepOffices of international organizations took part in the annual fair. The funds raised this year will be donated for building bridges in the distant province of Gansu.
According to the data from the website of the PRC International Affairs Ministry (http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/web/zyxw/t1407952.shtml) the event managed to raise over 3 mln RMB (about $448 thsd).
The Russian Embassy stall in China sold “Aleyka”TM products (cereals, pasta, butter and flour) which had been donated by Beijing company “Aleyka”.
The international charity fair “Love has no borders” has been held annually in autumn since 2009 due to the initiative and under the auspices of Mrs. Tsai Vei- the wife of the PRC Minister of International Affairs, Mr. Van I and in cooperation with Embassies and RepOffices of international organizations accredited in China. Every year the funds are raised for some charity project.
Beijing company “Aleyka” was established by CJSC “Aleyskzernoprodukt” named after Sergei N. Starovoitov (Altai Krai, Russia) in China in 2007 so that to expand the company in the Eastern Asian market.
