On March 2, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin paid a working visit to the Altai Territory. Together with the Prime Minister, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Industry Denis Manturov, Head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov, Head of the region Viktor Tomenko, Minister of Industry and Energy of the Altai Territory Vyacheslav Khimochka worked in the region.Denis Starovoitov, Executive Director, took part in a meeting held by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of Russia, with representatives of the regional association of industrialists and heads of a number of large industrial enterprises in the Altai Territory. The event was held at the site of the Altai Precision Products Factory.
The Russian Prime Minister discussed the prospects for the development of the industrial sector of the region's economy during this meeting. The meeting participants noted a number of government support programs that promote the development of enterprises and increase production volumes. They were keenly interested in whether these programs would be continued.
